some possible ideas for my multimedia projects

1. Travel

My projects could educate young adults about traveling and provide resources to promote its benefits.

For the Photo Editing Project I could create some sort of flyer to encourage others to join a traveling and adventure club in order for others to meet like-minded individuals that have a desire to explore and travel the world. This flyer would include engaging graphics, contact information, and possibly an eye-catching phrase. I would gear this flyer towards young adults who have some sense of freedom and desire to travel, but might be too nervous to start traveling alone.

For the Illustration Project I could create graphic illustrations that list common items to pack when getting ready for a trip. This would be useful for younger and newer travelers without much experience; those whom aren't exactly sure what to pack in their luggage when traveling abroad.

For the Video Project I could create an emotional inspiring video with clips of beautiful landscapes, landmarks, and cities around the globe. Again this would foster interest for younger adults who are possibly interested in traveling. In the video I could include background dialogue that speaks on some of the benefits of traveling, such as immersing oneself in another culture, learning a new language, etc.

2. Environment/Outdoors

Another idea for my projects is to focus them around protecting the environment and encouraging others to get outside!

For the Photo Editing Project I could edit a photo graphic the supports a national park in order to bring more attention to it. The photo would include images of the park's landscape and wildlife, text about what to do in the park, and possible directions on how to get there. By advertising this national park my hope would be that families and individuals would be inspired to get outdoors and explore preserved nature sites.

For the Illustration Project I could draw some illustrations of common hiking rules and tips to inform newer outdoor adventurers on how to stay safe and enjoy nature's beauty. Some of the illustrations could be about not littering, bringing water, and wearing sun protection.

The Video Project could be focused on wildlife and plant life in a certain area or city. By doing this, the surrounding residents would hopefully be encouraged to go outside and experience the nature nearby. It is easy to forget that parks, lakes, and nature reserves exist, so this would be a good reminder for families and individuals looking for places to explore.

3. Sustainable Fashion

This concept of my projects could be about teaching others on how to create a more sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle through fashion and shopping.

The Photo Editing Project could consist of multiple photos of current fashion trends with some catchy phrase like "Looking for Trendy Clothes for an Affordable Cost? Try Thrifting!". Thrift shopping is an affordable and environmentally friendly way to recycle pre-existing clothes so that more precious resources aren't being taken from the Earth. This edited photo graphic would be tailored towards younger adults and teenagers who are interested in dressing stylish, but maybe don't have an income that can support the current fashion trends or just want to be more environmentally conscious.

For the Illustration Project I could create an infographic with illustrations and textual information explaining tips and tricks on how to thrift the best items. This would be useful for people who are just getting into thrifting and need some extra guidance. It can be discouraging to go thrift shopping and not find any gems, so the purpose of this illustration could be to boost the benefits of thrifting so others are encouraged to keep looking!

For the Video Project I could create some sort of video vlog of a typical thrift day, where I go explore a few thrift stores in the neighboring area of Goleta and Santa Barbara. For college students and young people in the area this would be useful because they would receive my honest reviews on the thrift stores nearby, so they know where to check out. Also, it is easy to be engaged in a good thrift haul video and see all the clothing items and home decor that one finds while thrifting. Again, this would just encourage others to get out there and thrift some cute clothes instead of supporting easy and fast fashion options.
