today I played around with texts and images...

To create this photo edit I started by selecting and cropping the cows out of a larger image using the magic wand and lasso tool. I did the same with the hand and then copied and adjusted size and rotation, so that they were "petting" the cows. Next I found an image of a grassy hill which i placed underneath. I then copied the image of the hill, flipped it on its horizontal axis and then placed it on the top half of the graphic. Below I have added text to the edited photo.

I'm still learning about positioning text to figure out what looks most appealing to the eye, so here I have three options on where to place the text.

This is a finished photo edit in which I added more text at the top, highlighting the purpose of the graphic which is to encourage individuals to visit the beautiful country of New Zealand. For newer travelers this isn't probably a country one would have on their radar but it has rich nature and wildlife, a place perfect for someone who wants a unique adventure.

Another exercise I practiced was placing images inside text. To do this I created text, placed an image overtop, and then created a clipping mask. I also added a drop shadow and a few other text effects like stroke. I then changed the background by filling it with a color, and even tried with images of clouds.
